We thought you might be interested in the attached photograph, featuring a group of long-retired colleagues who all began their teaching careers at KES in the 1950s, in the legendary era of NLC, and have maintained intermittent contact ever since. Three years ago, sensing approaching decrepitude, we inaugurated an annual reunion, and this photograph was taken at our most recent get-together, in October 2006, at the Kilworth House Hotel in Leicestershire, owned and managed by Richard Mackay, a son of George Mackay who was Senior Science Master at the school from 1951 to 1966.
We all retain vivid and affectionate memories of the school, and those of us with internet connections regularly retail information gleaned from your impressive website.
We have also enjoyed reading the centennial history of King Ted's, and particularly applaud the author's balanced treatment of the Clapton years.
Appended below is a key to the attached photograph, reading from left to right: P.D. Arculus (Chemistry) '54-'59; B.C. Arthur (Modern Languages) '54-'59; R. Mackay (son of G.M.
