Dear Old Edwardian

Yes we have been reeling after the sad loss of our President John Phillips. The OE attendance at the funeral was predictably large as his age meant many surviving classmates.

The show however must go on. Baldwins Omega is booked, the price is £24:00 and the relative formality of the event has been dismantled, though we will still have a speaker.

We will not be sending out a booking form. You will be asked to pay for your meal on arrival, thus substantially reducing costs and complexity. On receiving your email, your seat will be booked, and if you know you will be attending with friends, you will add this information to the message you send.

An email will be sent back to you to confirm your presence. This should be sent to the webmaster no later than the Friday preceding Maundy Thursday in order to secure your meal.

We are already certain of a satisfactory attendance this year, so I hope you too will be able to join us and help make it substantial.
