Peter Frost (22.12.25 - 10.06.14), lately of Ringinglow, Sheffield, has died. He was at KES from 1934 to 1944.
"I am sorry to inform you of the death of my father on 10th June. He died peacefully in his favourite chair with his loving wife at his side.
He was until lately an enthusiastic member of the Old Edwardians. He often spoke fondly of his time at the school in particular his membership of the cricket and football teams. He would often relate stories around his wartime experiences, sat in the school roof tower with a school master reporting the drop of incendiary bombs during the blitz.
A memorial service will take place on Friday 20th June 1pm at St Andrews Church, Psalter Lane, Sheffield. A celebration of his life will continue at Baldwins Omega from 2pm.
All donations please to the Alzheimer's Society."
There is an obituary notice in the Star and various mentions of Peter in the magazines, including a photo of him in the 1st XI Football team.
